The Oxytocin Co.

about charlee

Midwife, future therapist, and the person behind
The Oxytocin Co.

Midwifing people through transformation, identity shifts, birth, grief, healing, and the deeply human parts of being alive.

The Oxytocin Co. is an evolution of my work in midwifery—expanding beyond birth into emotional support, relational healing, and deep, human connection.

I believe care is most powerful when people feel safe enough to be fully human within it.
My work is rooted in attunement, curiosity, collaboration, and honoring
the complexity each person carries into birth, grief, healing, and change.

My background is in midwifery, where I’ve attended over 200 births across homes, hospitals, and birth centers throughout California and Washington State.

Over the years, I’ve sat with people through birth, grief, trauma, identity shifts, relationship transitions, and the profound emotional reorganization that often accompanies becoming a parent.

Whether through birth work, emotional support, or future therapy work, I aim to create spaces where people feel safe, held, and deeply seen.

Outside of work

I spend much of my free time strength training, listening to film scores or live music, hiking, boating, spending time with friends, curled up with my cats, and exploring creativity through music, poetry, and photography.

I value authenticity, emotional depth, curiosity, humor, creativity, and the kinds of conversations that make people feel seen and less alone.

Holding space for complexity

Some experiences resist simple language or easy resolution.
My approach to care makes room for nuance, reflection, grief, growth,
and the full complexity of selfhood.

Kind Words

Charlee was exactly what I wanted and needed for my first pregnancy. I trust her completely, welcomed her suggestions and benefitted from her wisdom. The non-judgmental, unbiased, warm and loving care provided by her is how I wish all healthcare
could be.

I didn’t expect to find someone as kind, genuine, and intuitive…she executed every expectation with prenatal care, and it warmed my heart to see how she included my older daughter in the appointments. Even when labor became long and frustrating, she was right there to offer reassurance and a calming presence.

We connected with Charlee almost instantly because of her warm and positive way of care. She really put our care above all else and that was so refreshing after dealing with the sterile hospital staff…Charlee offered the most loving support and we always felt heard.

We were so happy to find Charlee after an unsupportive experience with our original OB. Charlee always listened to us and worked with us to prepare for the birth we wanted. She shared her opinions and perspective, but always let us make the final decisions.
